- A sample mounting demonstration ~3PM, room TBD (The demonstration is only for researchers who are planning to image cleared samples in easy index on the SmartSPIM in the near future)
- A brief introduction to the SmartSPIM light sheet microscope at the Innovation Core
- An overview of tissue clearing
- The LifeCanvas tissue processing pipeline, including: SHIELD preservation, delipidation, basic labeling, index matching and mounting basics for imaging (focused on rodent brain)
- Protocol variations for tissues other than brain
- Limitations of tissue clearing
- A brief overview and discussion of alternative tissue clearing pipelines
