Step One: Register in iLab and Request Training
To register and request training, please follow the process outlined below:
- Go to: https://ucsf.ilab.agilent.com/
- In the upper-right corner, click “Sign up”
- Select “Not a University of California San Francisco user”
- You will be prompted to enter your email and fill in information in 3 categories: Personal Information, Group Associations, and Billing Information
NOTE: If your company already has an iLab account, you can associate with their existing ILab group, if not, please create a new group. Please add your accountant or the person who will pay with a credit card to your group and ensure they are entered as a Financial Manager. - Once your group membership has been approved, go back to https://ucsf.ilab.agilent.com/
- Click “Login” in the upper-right corner and sign in to your account.
- Select “Advanced Light Microscopy at the Weill Innovation Core.”
- Navigate to the Request Services tab, select “Training,” and initiate a request.
- Complete the required form before submitting your request to the Core.
- Make sure to click the “Submit” button at the very bottom of the page.

Step Two: Pre-training Consultation
Once we have received your training request, we will contact you to schedule a pre-training consultation to discuss your project goals, imaging needs, and the appropriate systems for your use. From there, we will schedule training session(s).
